220V AC contactor wiring method and physical wiring diagram
220V AC contactor wiring method and physical wiring diagram
Brief introduction of contactor
If the contactor is divided only from the voltage, there are two types of AC contactor and DC contactor. If it is divided from the function, purpose, and top, the contactor has vacuum, switching capacitor and other types. And AC contactors are widely used in electric power, power distribution or power-using places.
Contactor definition: It refers to a device that uses the current flowing through its coil to generate a magnetic field effect in industrial electricity, and at the same time can prompt its contacts to perform a closing action, thereby achieving a device that controls the load. There are many types and specifications of contactors, and their rated working power ranges from 5A to 1000A.

Let me give you a concept of the parameters marked on the equipment shell. L1, L2...T1, T2 are all main circuits. Among them, L1, L2, L3 are usually connected to the power supply, and T1, T2 and T3 are the outlet ends which are usually connected to the load. NO and NC are the on and off points of the control circuit. Generally, they are based on a group, which is a pair. NO is a pair of normally open ends and NC is a pair of normally closed ends. Some AC contactors may only have one set. Then there are A1 and A2 coil ends.

The coil A1 of the 220V AC contactor should be connected to the phase line 220V (live wire), and the other A2 needs to be connected to the neutral wire. The main contacts need to be connected to the three phases of A, B, and C. The auxiliary contacts of the contactor are connected to the control circuit. Usually, there are simple wiring schematic diagrams on the equipment shell. If it does not pull in, the control circuit is not connected properly.

When the start button is pressed when starting, the control current from the power supply side will flow through the circuit breaker to the power line, then through the stop button to the self-locking line, and then through the start button to the start line, and finally reach the coil A2 To coil A2, the AC contactor coil is energized to perform the pull-in action, and the main contact will be connected to the load to close the auxiliary normally open point and self-lock. After the start button is released at this time, because the auxiliary normally open point of the AC contactor has been closed and shorted the start button before, it can still maintain its own energized running state.

When the stop button is pressed during shutdown, the control circuit is powered off at this time, and then the 220V AC contactor pops up to reset, and prompts the main contact to disconnect the load and the auxiliary contact to disconnect the control circuit, and then release the stop button. Because the auxiliary normally open point (self-locking point) has been reset, the contactor will be in a power-off state.
The above is the wiring method and physical wiring diagram of the 220V AC contactor, I hope to help you.
