8K real-time video and audio encoder to smoothly transmit high-quality content

Video encoder developer Spin Digital announced the launch of the HEVC/H.265 software real-time encoder Spin Enc Live, which is designed for 8K live video and provides the video quality, compression rate and performance required for streaming media audio and video.
Users use the Spin Enc Live encoder to compress 4K and 8K ultra-high-quality broadcast programs and streaming audio-visual content at a low bit rate in real time. High-quality video can be transmitted under limited bandwidth and network speed.
Spin Enc Live includes not only an optimized HEVC encoder, but also modules for input and output streams, providing a complete encoding and decoding solution for live video.
The report pointed out that Spin Digital uses Decision-Making Algorithm and advanced software to implement a high-quality encoder, and makes full use of the latest Single Instruction Stream Multiple Data Stream (SIMD) instructions to meet the requirements for 8Kp60 broadcast and streaming applications. And includes real-time operation mode, compliance with HDR standards, support for HDR and wide color gamut, and support for HLS/TSOIP simultaneous output, etc.
According to Spin Digital, the Spin Enc Live encoder can balance quality and compression rate in real-time operation, similar to the best offline encoder in its class (usually used in on-demand video), and the company also guarantees that the encoder is highly efficient ( Both long GOP) and low latency (short GOP) operating modes provide the lowest latency.
Spin Digital conducts analysis tests to verify the quality and compression efficiency of the new encoder. The results show that Spin Enc Live can play broadcast-grade 8K HEVC real-time videos on the network at a bit rate as low as 48Mbit/s.
