The UCC *-50GK ultrasonic sensor series is widely used and can be combined with other hardware components to form a true IoT sensor that can provide data such as material level information.
1.Water treatment

In water/sewage treatment applications, harsh outdoor conditions, humidity, dirt... are severe challenges for most sensors. However, the UCC * -50GK series is not afraid of challenges-it has an IP66/67 protection level and a PTFE protective film to prevent contaminants from adhering to the sensor. This type of durable sensor can detect the material level in sand traps, clarifiers and digestion towers, with a wide ambient temperature range: -25°C ... + 70°C, and has a temperature compensation function.
2.Silo

In terms of material storage, both the construction industry and agricultural operations can benefit from it. The robust multifunctional sensor is very suitable for monitoring silos containing cement, gravel, sand, or grain, animal feed and mineral nutrients. The combination of three sound cone modes and a sensing range of up to 4 meters allows users to flexibly choose and break through space constraints. With the protection of PTFE membrane, the transducer head is not afraid of the influence of corroded materials.
3.Recycling disposal

From plastic, glass, paper and other waste recycling to compactors, UCC * 50-GK can realize a smarter and more efficient recycling management process. The compact threaded housing design allows UCC*-50GK to be easily installed in a closed container, and three unique sound cone modes ensure accurate sensing in these narrow spaces. More importantly, through the power-saving mode and standby function, the running time becomes longer, and solar energy or batteries can power it.
4.Service robots and small AGVs

Smaller automated guided vehicles (AGV), such as cleaning and feeding robots, can be equipped with UCC*-50GK ultrasonic sensors to achieve economical and effective collision avoidance detection. With its compact housing size, the sensor can be easily integrated into this AGV. Cleaning and feeding robots are often exposed to pollutants. Due to the wide temperature range and integrated temperature compensation function, it can be used indoors and outdoors.
