The fault judgment method of the elevator main engine encoder
The fault judgment method of the elevator main engine encoder
Due to the elevator failure caused by the encoder, the actual on-site maintenance is not a minority. There are many types of encoder failures, but they can be divided into two major categories: 1. The use of the encoder (packaging and manufacturing, transportation bumps, installation process Irregular operation and subsequent maintenance irregularities) Second, it is the interference of the outside world to signal transmission. The commonly used encoders are generally HEIDENHAIN encoders. The following describes several encoder failure cases:
case study
Case 1: In an elevator, the leveling is inaccurate, and there is a "teng Yi Teng" vibration phenomenon in the running itinerary. The fault could not be eliminated on the spot. After our inspection, we found that the encoder cable was damaged. The fault was eliminated after replacing the cable. Case 2: An elevator has an abnormal phenomenon after the empty car safety gear-speed governor linkage test. The elevator crawls about 50mm after starting the floor selection and then stops. Through the investigation, the signal connection between the encoder and the inverter has a virtual connection phenomenon. Case 3, a variable-frequency asynchronous elevator often stops suddenly during operation. Then it can run normally after automatic leveling. After inspection, the fault is not caused by a bad brake circuit. It is not caused by the instantaneous on and off of the safety circuit and the door lock circuit. It is because of the severe wear of the encoder that causes the elevator to produce a sudden interruption of the signal during operation. Case 4: The elevator car oscillates strongly when the elevator is in normal operation and the express train is running, and the elevator jitters regularly, especially in multi-storey operation This phenomenon is particularly obvious. After inspecting the main circuit and drive unit of the elevator, the real cause has not been found. After asking the owner, it was found that someone cleared the debris in the machine room, and the elevator began to show the above phenomenon. Then the traction machine and control The periphery of the cabinet was inspected emphatically and found that the PG grounding copper sheet installed at the rear for speed measurement feedback was distorted and deformed, causing the motor shaft and the encoder shaft sleeve to be out of concentricity during the operation of the elevator. After that, 1 piece of connecting copper piece was reprocessed, and the fault was eliminated after replacement .

Encoder code disc is damaged

Encoder spindle wear

Encoder cable is damaged

The field encoder bumps, causing the encoder to be damaged
Through the above cases, we found that whether it is the virtual connection of the encoder signal line, the wear of the encoder, the misalignment of the encoder shaft sleeve and the motor shaft, etc., the encoder signal collection will be lost, and such failures will cause the abnormal operation of the elevator.
To judge the encoder failure, when there is no signal interference on site, the easiest way is to forward and reverse the encoder on site and observe whether the inverter has signal feedback. If there is signal feedback, the encoder is normal. If there is no feedback, then the encoder is normal. The encoder is faulty
