What does 2000 line encoder mean?

The encoder outputs how many pulse signals through how many dark lines the rotor sweeps inside the encoder. The accuracy choice is the resolution of the encoder. The higher the angle, the more accurate the recording. 2000 lines means the encoder rotates one whole. The circle can output 2000 pulse signals, and the commonly used ones are 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2000.
