What does the ABZ phase of the encoder mean？

Simply put: Phase A, Phase B and Phase Z will output pulses when the encoder is rotating. The pulses of the three phases are independent. According to the commonly used encoders, the single-turn pulses of Phase A and Phase B are Equal, Z phase is one pulse per revolution.
