Application of open grating ruler in automation industry

LIC open linear encoders are used to measure absolute positions within 27 m of high-speed motion. Its size and installation method are the same as LIDA 400.

The LIP open-type linear encoder has a very small measuring step, and the accuracy and repeatability are very high. The scanning method is interference scanning, and the measurement standard is DIADUR phase grating.

The measurement standard of LIF open linear grating is SUPRADUR glass substrate grating, and the scanning method is interference scanning. It is characterized by high precision and repeatability, simple installation, limit switch and zero return track. The special type LIF 481 V can be used in a vacuum environment of 10–7 bar (see its separate "Product Information").

LIDA open linear encoders are especially suitable for high-speed motion applications with a motion speed of 10 m/s. It supports multiple installation methods and is simple to install. According to the corresponding application requirements, the substrate of the METALLUR grating can be steel strip, glass or glass ceramic. Limit switch is also available.

• The measurement datum of the PP dual-coordinate encoder is a planar DIADUR phase grating, and the scanning method is interference scanning. Used to measure the position in the plane.

Mechanical structure

The open linear grating ruler includes a grating ruler or a steel tape grating ruler and the reading head, and there is no mechanical contact between the grating ruler and the reading head. The long grating of the open linear encoder is directly fixed on the mounting surface. The flatness of the mounting surface directly affects the accuracy of the linear encoder.
