Pepperl + Fuchs encoder installation guide

After purchasing the Pepperl+Fuchs encoder, the customer does not know how to install it; today I will make a Pepperl+Fuchs encoder installation guide for everyone!

First, pay attention to the following points when wiring Pepperl+Fuchs encoder:

1. A metal cable support must be used, and the connection of the support must be connected to ground;

2. Cables should be arranged as close as possible to metal parts, such as control cabinet panels, beams and metal rails;

3. To avoid coupling interference, minimize the possibility of parallel routing of signal cables and power cables;

4. Cables should be routed reasonably to avoid excessively long reserved cables, which may cause blockage of the cable duct;

5. If the space is limited, please use metal partitions, metal sleeves and metal wire slots, and keep them well grounded;

6. Keep a minimum distance of 2cm between inside the electric cabinet and other cables, and 50cmz outside the electric cabinet

7. Communication cables must be laid separately from power cables, high-power cables and high-noise cables. It is best to use a well-shielded metal cable sleeve;

8. The communication cable must be far away from equipment with serious magnetic field interference such as motors, transformers, and inverters;

Encoder|Transmitter|Soft starter|Power supply|VFD|Light curtain|Servo products|Human-machine interface|Solenoid valve|Cylinder|Actuator|Flow meter|Transformer|Thyristor|Sensor|Deceleration drive gearbox reducer|Linear guide|Circuit breaker|Refrigeration compressorAll industrial products of okplazas are purchased from the original factory or formal channels of agents to ensure the original authenticity, which perfectly solves the problem of industrial product sample procurement and small-batch procurement for the majority of engineers and purchasing personnel.

Now let’s pay attention to the points that Pepperl+Fuchs encoder should pay attention to when installing!

1. Each electrical interface has its own characteristics, as well as different baud rates and transmission distances, which can be selected according to the specific application environment of the site, the actual transmission distance and transmission rate, the installation interference environment of the encoder and the communication cable, and the grounding , Cable selection, etc. have a lot to do.

2. Cable wiring The wires of the encoder should be connected according to the electrical instructions in the parameter table. The wires that are not used should be insulated and wrapped separately or an insulating sleeve should be added to avoid damage to the encoder due to short-circuit with other signals or power lines.

3. The electrical wiring must be performed under the condition of complete power failure. The encoder is easily damaged by plugging and unplugging the connector or cable when the power is on.

4. The power supply voltage must be within the range of the rated value. Long-term use of too high voltage will damage the encoder.

5. The power supply voltage must be stable with little fluctuation. Do not share the power supply with high-interference components (such as inverters, solenoid valves, contactors), and filter power supplies can also be used.
