Term used for photoelectric switch

1. Detection distance:

The detection distance of through-beam and mirror reflection photoelectric switches refers to the maximum distance that can be stably detected without effective obstructions on the optical axis. The detection distance of the reflective photoelectric switch is the maximum distance that can stably detect the standard detection object. Folding hysteresis distance The hysteresis distance refers to the difference between the movement distance and the reset distance. It is expressed by the ratio of the detection distance, which is generally less than 20% of the detection distance. Folding response time refers to the time required from the initial effective light reception of the light receiver to the output action as the response time. The time required from the initial effective shading of the light receiver to the output reset is called the reset application time.

2. Folding dark movement

DARK ON: Shading action. It means that when the speed of light entering the light receiver is reduced to a certain degree or when it is fully shielded, the output transistor will turn on and output.

3. Folding and moving

LIGHT ON, also known as light-receiving action. It means that when the light beam entering the light receiver increases to a certain amount, the output transistor is turned on and there is output.

4. Folding external synchronization input

In general, all photoelectric switches with external diagnostic input function generally have external synchronization function. In other words, the blue line and the black line in Figure 2 can be short-circuited (ON) by means of contact or transistor conduction to stop the light emission at any time. Based on this, the sensor can be pre-checked before work to see if it is normal. In work, using this nature can also accept the operation or interruption instructions issued by the control system at any time. If the previous output and the next external synchronization input are connected in series, the AND gate and other functions can be realized
